Presenting FIVE ways to pass the Board
ABR was established in 1989 to assist physicians in passing the Certifying and Recertifying Examination for the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). To achieve this goal, we have developed five distinct methods; each is unique and has proven highly successful.
-
Medical Newsletter on "How to Pass the Board of Internal Medicine" . . . consists of 12 newsletters, covering the 12 subspecialties of Internal Medicine. Our main sources of information are Harrison's textbook, MKSAPs, UpToDate, Current Medical Diagnosis and other journals. Download our first issue FREE! The total subscription price for all 12 is $295 (includes shipping and handling).
-
Unusual Board Review . . . is a six-day course held twice (May 18 - May 23, 2009 and June 8 - June 13, 2009). The May course will be held in Manhattan while the June course will be held in New Jersey. This is our most popular method, as it offers radical and enlightening approach to studying for the ABIM Certifying Examination. The registration fee for this course is $1095 (it does not include medical newsletters or flash cards).
-
Weekend Crash Course . . . is a two-day review only a few days before the examination for certification in Internal Medicine. During this course, hundreds of Board-relevant questions and approximately 1000 images/photographs are presented. The tuition fee for this full 2-day course (August 1 - 2, 2009) is Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($450). This course is limited to the first 100 candidates only.
-
Flashcards . . . present 500 questions and answers addressing Board-relevant topics. These pocket-size cards are perfect to study during those idle minutes you spend waiting in line or on an elevator. The price per set is $100 (includes shipping and handling).
-
Recertification Crash Courses . . . are held approximately one month before the examinations. Each course is held for three days (Friday - Sunday, 9am – 5pm) and includes discussion of pre-printed hundreds of board-type questions. The tuition fee is $1495 (includes 12 Medical Newsletters and 500 Flashcards – sent by mail after you register for the course). The candidates are advised to go over newsletters and flashcards in preparation for solving hundreds of board-type questions during this course. Lunch and snacks are provided. |
